inconvenient basement room, some cleanliness issues
steep stairs filthy walls
I stayed in a basement room. The narrow, steep stairs were difficult. i would NOT have picked this room if I had a choice. The cleanliness was lacking, walls and doors were filthy. The bedding has REALLY seen better days.

Comfortable Stay Near Transportation
Location was convenient because it was near the underground and bus routes. The neighborhood felt secure, a definite plus for evening walks. Staff was very kind to me and I felt genuinely welcome. Rooms were a bit small, yet they gave all essentials I needed.
I found the breakfast was served in a different building across the street. It caused a minor inconvenience because I had to walk outside.

Breakfast included a typical English breakfast and several choices such as marmalades, cereals, and tea. They offered orange juice, coffee, and tea as beverage choices and this was more than adequate. Weekday breakfast was standard, yet the weekend one had a few differences.

My room featured a decent shower with nice water pressure, which I surely liked. Cleanliness was clearly a priority and I noticed how well kept the rooms and linens were. I got the room on a lower floor because the weather was very hot.

Staff members were very helpful and friendly, they always greeted me with a smile. Both Kanley and Dave were exceedingly nice and helpful . They were responsive to all questions that I had and even provided suggestions for places to see.

a decent stay overall
friendly staff breakfast options small room tiny shower
the breakfast was delicious and filling! i especially liked the variety of options offered each morning. the staff was also very friendly and cute, always ready to help with directions or recommendations.
the room felt a bit cramped, it was hard to move around comfortably! the shower was also quite small. there wasn't enough space to turn around easily.

the location was good. staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was nice. there were many electric outlets and mirrors in the room. the bed felt comfy and cozy..
i noticed the shower was tiny. i couldn't easily turn around or move. the shower stall seemed quite small.

the cottage has a well-kept exterior. hygiene articles were available in the bathroom. tea and hot chocolate were accessible in the room daily, a very nice touch. the general upkeep was excellent.

I appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. The location is convenient because it is close to Vauxhall station. Breakfast offered a great start to the day. I especially liked the variety of options.
The room cleanliness was lacking. I found the walls and doors were quite dirty. The bookshelf had a noticeable layer of dust. The bedding and bathroom towels seemed old and worn.
