friendly staff quiet location limited buffet late cleaning
I really liked the cleanliness of the room. the staff was friendly and helpful. They addressed any concerns quickly. i also thought the location was ideal for a relaxed vacation. it was quiet and close to several nice beaches. the architecture was wonderful.
The breakfast buffet wasn't quite rich enough for me. also, the food at lunch seemed overpriced for its quality. there were also a few ants in the shower. They did try to resolve it, but it wasn't fully fixed.

a fantastic hotel stay
refurbished rooms friendly staff
the rooms are beautiful, and the pools are great. we stayed in the refurbished rooms within the new building. i loved how friendly the staff is and they are always happy to accommodate any request. the peace is something i really liked!
the breakfast buffet did not have a rich variety. food served at lunch and dinner is expensive and not up to standard. i expected higher quality at those prices. plus, the cleaning service sometimes happened late in the day after 3pm

Mixed Feelings About My Stay
slow service rude waiter
The restaurant experience was quite disappointing. Service was slow. I waited a long time. Apollo tavern seemed overpriced considering the quality of the food, and getting our table cleaned or menus took far too long. Breakfast wasn't much better. A waiter seemed dismissive and rude, saying there were no outside tables when there were. Our coffees arrived an hour late, and the pancakes never was despite asking about them five times.
