decent stay with some drawbacks
friendly staff excellent location street noise minimal water
the staff were friendly and relaxed. i found the breakfast to be solid, including fruit and omelette. the air-conditioning worked well in the rooms. the location is excellent, close to all the attractions and the public beach.
the shower head had minimal water coming out. i had to squat down to use the tap to shower, which would be difficult for tall people. there is quite a bit of noise coming from the street at night.

I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. Emmanuel assisted with a late-night food delivery. The AC and fan unit worked very well, providing relief during the hot days. I especially liked the powerful shower. It was just what I needed after exploring.
The room faced the street, and the noise level at night was significant. Some earplugs helped a bit, but quieter rooms would be welcomed.

Breakfast was served just across the street at a nice restaurant, with diverse Indian dishes. The garlic naan was AMAZING!!! It was prepared quickly and delivered fresh to the table.

The central location made it easy to walk everywhere in Stone Town. I found the proximity to shops and historical sites convenient. Transportation was also readily available nearby.

The room had daily cleaning service. The mosquito net around the bed was useful, as was the staff mosquito spray service. The room was well-decorated and clean.

Staff were kind and helpful. Rashid, the manager, offered a tour of the area. Everyone was very cute. I felt safe as a solo traveler.

the air conditioning was really good. the shower had great pressure. the receptionist emmanual was very cute at my late arrival, he arranged for food delivery.
