The shower temperature was difficult to regulate. I had trouble getting it just right, and the water pressure fluctuated a bit.

charming stay

i found a retro feel throughout the hotel i noticed the garden grounds were beautifully kept the entire place looked immaculate private parking was available within the grounds i liked having a key rather than a card the breakfast choice included many options and it was great breakfast was available 7-10 am. the view was a nice touch the staff were friendly i felt welcome.
the building seemed slightly dated after entering the reception area

i really enjoyed the location near newcastle and durham. the bus connection was very easy. the restaurant offers very good food. breakfast was also delicious.
the front DOOR was very dirty. it is the first thing you see and it set the mood.

The parking spot was near the entrance, so that worked fine.
The television was old and difficult to operate. I found it hard to get any of the channels to work properly and gave up eventually. Breakfast had limited choices. The cooked items looked like they had been sitting there for a while.
