poor insulationdisruptive noise
I was looking forward to a great stay. several issues arose. The room was next to a service area. I heard staff conversations and equipment noises at all hours. The noise insulation was poor, and it disrupted my sleep. I informed the front desk, but the situation did not improve . This significantly detracted from the experience, as I expected better soundproofing.

The hotel's design within a 17th-century building is unique. i found the beds comfortable, really great. the staff demonstrated consistent politeness and attentiveness. They anticipated every need. being an adult-only hotel was also a plus for a peaceful atmosphere.
the location felt slightly out of the way from main attractions. this required a bit more walking than initially expected.

the beautiful junior suite canal view offered abundant space and thoughtful design. i especially enjoyed the high-quality linens and soundproofing against external noise. modern amenities, such as high-speed internet, were reliable throughout my stay.

i never received the bottle of prosecco, chocolates, and fruit bowl promised. my friend received a bottle of prosecco and was told we needed to share it. the hotel staff never acknowledged or took accountability for the things that were promised but not delivered.
