the sea views met my expectations. the landscape was quite striking.
the shower was a real issue. the water temperature fluctuated wildly. it was impossible to get a consistent flow. the bathtub was far too small, not allowing for comfortable movement at all. i found this frustrating after a long day.

the location is gorgeous with dramatic views (i'm still thinking about it). i appreciated the isolated setting. the dining room presented delicious food. the staff, specifically at the bar, were cute and offered good products. i found the scone to be the best i've ever had.

The staff remembered small details. For example, one person recalled my dietary restriction from dinner and gave me a heads up about an ingredient at lunch. another staff member asked if i was feeling better after i requested honey and lemon.

poor servicedirty dishes
The service was not great. I stayed in the "Main Hotel Premier Room Sea View", but the room was not serviced upon my return from hiking. Dirty towels remained on the floor. The bed was unmade. Dirty breakfast dishes were left. Nobody collected the dishes, even after my dinner order, so they sat on the terrace all night.

Really good Isle of Skye Stay

helpful staffearly flexibilitypresented baglovely porridge
The staff was very helpful. The receptionist and barman were especially pleasant. They provided flexibility when I needed to leave early for a ferry. I enjoyed a lovely porridge. A beautifully presented bag of food and treats was given to me as I rushed off.
The shower proved a little tricky to use. The bathtub was very small. Moving around was limited.

The room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was very good. I enjoyed the hikes nearby.
The room was small. The bath was tiny. The shower head was oddly placed on the taps. It was not ideal for my husband because he is 6ft tall.
