spacious roombathroom cleaningnighttime noise
the room was spacious.
I had issues with the noise. there was quite a bit of noise at night , from other guests i think. the bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly . I found hairs in the shower , which was unpleasant.

lovely log cabin stay

I spent four nights in the log cabin. It was wonderful. i forgot towels, but they were provided. the cabin had just about everything needed to start my time there. i found the location quiet, a short distance from the town centre.
The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim. This made shaving slightly difficult.

The hotel is near the river. Paddle boarding was easy and close. the campsite is close to multiple gardens. It makes for a very beautiful area. the area felt safe and quiet

The camping area is immaculate. The Shepherd's huts are wonderful. Staff are helpful. Activities on the river are great.

The Shepherds Hut was cosy and comfortable. I had two great nights of sleep. The hut was quiet and tranquil, a perfect escape!
I wish there were more signage directing to the lovely river walk. I missed it initially.

weak wi-fiunavailable canoes
The Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I could barely load basic web pages (very frustrating). I tried to stream a movie one evening, but it buffered constantly. the advertised canoe rentals were unavailable. I asked about them, but the staff said they were out of service for maintenance.
