the location had the ease of a ferry stop right at the hotel. breakfast was good and provided a nice start to the day. i especially liked that the hotel offered an excellent location for reaching ferries and nearby restaurants.
There was no room service available. i could only get towels from housekeeping if they were nearby. there also weren't any coffee or tea making facilities in the room. I found this inconvenient.

this hotel screams luxury, and i loved every bit of it. my superior double room balcony lake view offered fine views, i could even hear the waves at night. the breakfast was amazing with tons of options to choose from. the staff were also helpful in arranging a private boat trip.
the hotel is closing for refurbishment soon and it shows. during my stay, i found the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room quite inconvenient.

breakfast by the lake was lovely, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. the buffet had an amazing array of food, there were plenty of choices that easily satisfied all tastes. lactose-free options were readily available, that was a real plus.
