The staff made a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. The rooms seemed luxurious and the swimming pool was enjoyable.

I booked a room with a shower because of mobility issues. Upon arrival, I was given a room on the second floor with stairs only. The driveway to the hotel had potholes. The room was small, the curtains did not close, and the carpet looked filthy.

the premises presented a beautiful aesthetic both inside and out. i found the staff accommodating, especially with my late arrival, which i appreciated. the restaurant staff made a vegetarian option available, a gesture i valued. the location is beneficial for visiting bayeux tapestry and d-day landing sites.

My room had a view of the parking lot. It slightly detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

the pool was a good size and looked clean.

the room assigned felt outdated with second hand furniture. the staff were very understaffed, particularly in the evenings, with a single person handling check-in, the bar, and various issues. the restaurant did not open every day and taxi rides to town were expensive.

The staff were kind. They happily provided extra towels for the pool. the building itself looked stately and was well maintained. i found the grounds peaceful for walking and had many spots to sit and enjoy the garden. I really enjoyed that.

I noticed the minibar lacked variety. It only had a few water bottles. the bar prices seemed high for the limited selection offered though

the staff made a dinner reservation at a family friendly local restaurant with delicious seafood. the rooms were luxurious and i enjoyed the large swimming pool later in the evening. the garden is a pleasure for walking and relaxing and it has many seating spaces.

i was not given the room i had reserved. i had to change rooms after 2 days. the first room, was quite large in an out building but it was decorated in 2nd hand furniture and run down. they are very under-staffed, with only one person on duty in the evenings for checkin, problems, the bar, etc.
