The bed was comfortable. I slept soundly. the en-suite bathroom included both a bathtub and a separate shower with rainforest and handheld options. dinner tasted amazing!!!

i found the staff friendly. the bottled spring water was replenished daily. locally produced sweets were a nice touch in my superior double room.
The car park was large. Though i did find it a bit busy during peak hours.

The building has character. It extends to the bar and dining areas. The decor (i liked it so much!) reflects the age and ambiance of this country pub. Breakfast was excellent.

the room had everything i needed for a comfortable stay. the building is beautifully designed. the bar and restaurant area is well laid out with a great choice of beers and spirits.
a used sanitary towel was left in the bathroom bin. the service was really slow. it took 1:15 to have just one course. i appreciate that the room only cost £135 (sarcasm here).
