spacious roomcomfy bedshonesty barunderwhelming decor
i loved the spacious room and really good bathroom. beds were fabulously comfy, a true rest. the honesty bar and cosy seating area reminded me of home.
i noticed some customer areas could use tidying up with decor and flooring, it felt underwhelming.

my room included tea, coffee and biscuits, a welcomed treat. bottles of water were restocked regularly, a nice touch. the room was excellently insulated, a silent retreat from the outside.

The cooked breakfast WAS very good, a real highlight of my stay. The room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. I liked the honesty bar. It added a nice touch to the overall experience.
The hotel is located on a somewhat busy road, it had a bit of noise at night.

Mixed Feelings About This Stay
urine smellneglected decor
This visit was worse than my last one. I had a 'Superior King' room on the first floor. I noticed a strong urine smell. It seemed to come from the carpet. This smell kept me awake. I also noticed the decor looked neglected. The hotel needs some tidying up in customer areas.
