the staff seemed friendly. the meal was nicely cooked. the bar had a good range of drinks (i tried a local ale).
my room was very warm even with the window open. the bathroom door was difficult to open fully because of the bed. there was only one plug socket and bedside cabinet.

Really good Stay at a Charming Pub!

The provided room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, a detail I certainly appreciated! I also found the on-site parking at the rear of the hotel very convenient. It made arrival and departure much easier.
The tea and milk in the room were not automatically replenished daily, I had to request it.

The breakfast offered very good, high-quality food items. I found the evening meal equally satisfying and flavorful. I enjoyed the convenient meal options . It enhanced the experience.

The room included nice toiletries, I liked this. There was also tea, coffee, and biscuits readily available in the room, a great addition for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the thoughtfulness in the room amenities.

i stayed one night before going to the races at cheltenham. i needed a comfortable night and a meal when i arrived at 7.30pm. i also wanted breakfast. this place had great food and ellie made sure everything was perfect.
The bed in my room was too soft. It caused some discomfort during the night.

The double room was clean, warm, and spacious. tea, coffee, water, and toiletries were provided. Though a wardrobe was not available, a metal rail with hangers served well for clothing storage.
