underwhelming stay. could have been better
limited english communication difficulty
the location was convenient.
The staff's english skills were limited. It took two days for someone to understand my request regarding a problem in the room. i found this quite frustrating. i had a small problem, and it was difficult to communicate what i needed. the lack of clear communication caused a significant delay in resolving a simple issue.

fantastic stay with very nice views
excellent view room upgrade
i loved the location near the bund. the room upgrade provided a large space with excellent views (especially at night!).
the front desk staff's communication about payment could be improved. i felt a lack of clear explanations, leading to some initial confusion.

the hotel is near the bund, placing it close to sights. walking to the oriental pearl was quick, and the people's monument was about 15 minutes away. nearby, i found many top-rated restaurants.

heated seat toilet lovely slippers complimentary water
the room was large with a self flushing toilet. it also had lovely slippers. the room included complimentary water. showering overlooked the river.
the receptionist made a serious mistake with charges. she did not explain the charges in advance. she handed me the card machine and charged the full amount to my card. this included the room rate and a deposit. it occurred without explanation or a receipt.

the hotel had a rooftop bar. it allowed easy walk to the yuen garden area for street food. restaurants were in the bfc area opposite the hotel.

clean room comfortable bed easy location
my room was spacious and clean. the bed was delightfully comfortable! the hotel location was well situated for easy walking distance to points of interest.
the hotel needs some upkeep and general service attention.
