decent, but noise was a problem
loud music unresponsive reception
the resort itself was beautiful and the breakfast was really good.
The noise was a MAJOR issue one night. Loud music continued late into the night! i called reception but NO one answered. a staff member mentioned, 'it's a risk you take.

the breakfast was acceptable.
the noise from loud music continued late into the night. i contacted reception, but they offered no assistance. staff mentioned this noise is a risk one takes, unacceptable at these rates.

Wonderful Villa Experience
large bathroom lush plantation attentive staff
The villa was designed well and had a large bathroom. The plunge pool gave an amazing view of the lush tea plantation. The staff was very attentive and left cookies near the bedside each night. The staff made the bed and left thoughtful notes.
I noticed some very slight wear on some of the furniture items in my room.

The breakfast included milk rice, hoppers, and coconut roti. There were options for eggs, ham, and bacon also. The Sri Lankan options provided an authentic taste of local cuisine.

The manager gave a personal tour of the hotel premises. Staff members were very kind and helpful. Small details were noticed, for example, a welcome drink upon arrival.

The room included a well-designed interior. The plunge pool overlooked the tea plantation. The bathroom was quite large. There was ample space for luggage.
