The location is good, lots of things were within walking distance. The beer was really good! The staff was accommodating and friendly, so it was easy to ask for help.

My room was not properly cleaned, some hairs were on the floor in the bathroom on arrival. The shower also needs an upgrade. The condition was not ideal.

The staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions for local walks. My room was clean, spacious, and VERY comfortable. Breakfast had a large selection, cooked perfectly to my liking. The restaurant provided excellent food at reasonable prices .

My Beautiful Double Room featured ample space and COMFORTABLE furnishings. The bed was large and very comfortable, promising a restful night. The room had all necessary amenities, which i liked.

The inn provided free parking, a GREAT benefit in this area. A lovely terrace and garden were available. The location offered easy access to Dartmoor walks and local attractions, so i did walks every day.

My dog stayed in the dog friendly room. the room was really dark. Lights were needed all the time. staff walked past each morning. This upset my dog, and for £80+ per night i wasn't impressed!

The location offered easy parking just outside.

The room I was assigned needed more thorough cleaning. There were hairs in the bathroom upon my arrival. The shower clearly required an upgrade, and the carpet was not clean, an UNACCEPTABLE oversight. The provided sheet was also too small for the bed. initially, I was given the wrong room.
