Excellent Experience at the Inn
warm welcome comfortable room special curry
I stayed for four nights this week and found everything in order. The staff welcomed me warmly upon arrival. My room was comfortable, and I appreciated the breakfast service. I chose to eat in the restaurant each night and particularly enjoyed one of the chef's specials.
My room faced the front of the building, and I experienced some noise. Traffic on the road persisted throughout the day. I would have preferred additional soundproofing.

Location

Facilities

The restaurant offered a good choice of meals. I found the refurbished pub very cute. The hotel accommodates dogs. I noticed that the area was spotlessly clean and well kept.

Uneven Experience
Breakfast was good (I liked it), a reasonable start to the day.
The room faced the road and I found the noise level disruptive. Vehicles passed frequently, especially late at night, and I really struggled to sleep well. It sounded like there was no sufficient soundproofing at all.

cracked bath undercooked egg
The bathroom felt outdated. THE bath had cracks, and the hot tap took a long time to heat up, then stopped working. The shower was broken. It was very cold, and I could not adjust the temperature. the full English breakfast included an undercooked egg with a bad taste.
