The staff offered packed lunches because I needed an early start. It WAS a very generous gesture. The continental breakfast had GREAT choice. The room was clean, beautifully furnished, and comfy.
The bedroom was very DATED and the bed a little lumpy.

The hotel provided easy access from the motorway. I FOUND it REALLY handy for my travels. The grounds around the hotel offer peace and quiet, far from any city noises.

A continental breakfast IS AVAILABLE with many options. The hotel has a bar, MORE LIKE a living room, where guests gather in the evening. Free parking is available and i was very happy for it.

the staff was very cute. our room had a good size and was clean. it was also warm and comfortable.
the wifi was out of action i find this to be quite frustrating. the nearest restaurant required a drive to a nearby town.

traffic noisemusty smell
The place felt a little run down. my room faced the motorway, so i heard traffic noise most of the night. I wish the windows offered better soundproofing. breakfast was okay, but the selection seemed somewhat limited. also, i noticed a musty smell in the hallway on the second floor, and it was slightly off-putting. i hoped for a fresher environment.
