wonderful historical stay
friendly staff comfortable bed hot shower nice restaurant
i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the room and bed were comfortable. the shower had lovely hot water! i also enjoyed the nice restaurants and the delicious a la carte breakfast.
the room was a little snug, though very nice.

the hotel location was excellent with three different metro stations close by! chinatown was a very short walk away. all the sights and sounds of tanjong pagar were nearby.

The breakfast had different options presented nicely. ms. rozie, the dining room manager, takes great care of all the guests. I found this service very personalised and thoughtful.

The room was excellent and spacious with all the required amenities. No faults at all! the décor in reception and around the restaurants was a delight for history enthusiasts.

a decent stay, but some drawbacks
good location friendly staff easy transportation small room limited space
i stayed in a le colonial room. the location was quite good, really close to chinatown. i also found two metro stations within easy reach. the staff were friendly and very helpful.
the room felt small. we had difficulty managing our luggage. i think it was not ideal for two people with two suitcases. this was quite noisy during the day.
