i enjoyed the location because it was private and rural. the staff were friendly at all times. the cosy bar area had an open fire, which i loved. the hotel has EV chargers, i used them.
i found a mold on the shower pipe in the bathroom, it was not good. it hadn't been used or cleaned in a while. dust and bits on the floor wasn't good too.

the hotel features mature gardens. electric vehicle charging stations are available . a cosy bar area offers a relaxed setting with an open fire.

the room included a settee and a tv, that was useful. there was plenty of room and all mod cons. low beams across the middle gave character to the beautiful king room.

The building showcased great upkeep considering its age. Grounds were well kept. A friendly dog wandered about during breakfast. The staff was very helpful and worked hard maintaining high standards.
The wifi signal was not strong in all areas of the building.

The building had lots of character and was like a historic place. There was an open fire creating a cozy bar area. There were beautiful rooms, and the downstairs area with a fireplace stood out.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Food for dinner was amazing with generous portion sizes. (I especially enjoyed the salt and pepper chicken!) The crispy texture was a highlight.

the gardens possess high standards. breakfast was quick and well cooked. the smeaton room, the weirdest hotel room i've ever stayed in, was amazing!!!

i did Not appreciate the level of service. upon my arrival, the staff seemed preoccupied. it Looked that a wedding consumed their attention. the Room showed details of the wedding, this included photos and corsages. this Was inappropriate considering i had no connection to the event.
