charming stay

the staff was friendly. the bistro served amazing homemade food in the evening. the hotel is about a thirty minute drive from edinburgh airport. the welcome and service were excellent from all staff. breakfast was lovely, offering great value.
the garden could benefit from a tidy up.

The staff was very helpful. They stored our bikes indoors on our way to john o'groats, very kind. the customer service felt relaxed and friendly.

It is a quiet location. Shops are within easy reach. edinburgh is only half an hour away. the location is easy to access. A bus stop shares the hotel's name right in front of it.

I found the accommodation very comfortable and the food was fabulous. the room was cleaned. The bed was was nice. the tea and coffee tray was also restocked.

Free WiFi worked well. I appreciated the bus stop location right in front of the place. The Scottish breakfast was nice, it was my first.
The car park looked unkempt from the outside. The room felt dark and in need of refurbishment. My bathroom had no radiator, it felt very cold.

The onsite parking simplified arrival, a big plus. The breakfast included multiple options. The staff were very helpful with directions, a relief when navigating the area. I found the room size very adequate.
The garden could benefit from a little maintenance. I did notice some areas needing attention.
