Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments

good locationdated roommissing amenities
The location was good.
The room felt somewhat dated and lacked amenities I expected. There was no mini fridge or safe. I also found no conveniently placed sockets next to the bed.

Excellent Stay, Great Staff and Location

The hotel location provides convenient access to nearby attractions. I found the staff friendly. The hotel provided a parking space close to the entrance, very helpful. I also enjoyed the food in the restaurant each evening.
The room temperature was high. The receptionist offered to change my room, but it was too late in the day. I had already looked for other accommodations.
Dining

The dining room features an excellent design. I noticed attentive staff. There was a varied menu, including daily specials, with a wine list that included affordable options, specifically under £30.

the breakfast was decent, especially the sausages. the service from the staff was excellent.
The plumbing in the room was strange. the cold tap produced water hot enough to burn! it was a very unpleasant surprise. the restaurant was also disappointing. The food took a long time to arrive.

I found an accessible Blue Badge parking space upon my arrival. It displayed my name. Davina greeted me at reception amidst a busy Mothering Sunday, being professional and helpful. Room 20 was a few steps from the lift. It had a walk-in shower and views of the sea from a balcony.
The dinner menu seemed very fancy and overpriced. I wish there were some more basic dishes and salads.
