the staff was friendly enough, a detail i expect from a hotel of this level.
the room felt smaller than i anticipated. the furniture showed wear and tear, like chipped wood paneling throughout (it wasn't a great look). the shower gel dispenser kept falling off the wall, a constant annoyance.

i found the staff helpful and friendly. the location near the historical city centre suited me very well and the beds felt comfortable. i also used the sports centre right next door, a great perk included in my stay. the free water in the room was a lovely detail.
I experienced a wait to check out. It was a little long, particularly for a hotel of this class.

Breakfast had a superb choice of dishes and I loved this. I got great views over the harbor while I ate. Car parking included valet parking and it worked very well. The staff were really lovely too!
