the views were amazing from the captain's room, a private space. the upstairs balcony use was a bonus. secure parking gave me peace of mind.
the room lacked air conditioning , , made it difficult to keep cool, especially at night.

My room was quite small. Its design was questionable. The furniture felt cheap. There was NO air conditioning, SO the room got uncomfortably hot.

We booked a last-minute stay and the communication was first class. The room we booked was large and spacious. It offered an amazing ocean view. I enjoyed spending time on the terrace. The outdoor fire made evenings relaxing.
Clothes storage space in the bedroom was a little sparse.

The location was very good! Excellent restaurants are a few minutes walk or taxi ride away. I found the guest house within walking distance to local shops. The main road down to the beach is close by.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious each morning. Vanessa and her staff really looked after us even drying our clothes and towels when the weather was horrendous. Nothing was too much trouble.

the staff were very friendly. the hotel had beautiful furnishings. i found the views across the bay fantastic. i also liked that secure parking was available (this was a plus).
the breakfast buffet did not match the photos (i was a little disappointed). the owner did not say goodbye when we left. the check-in felt rushed and not very cute.

I loved the tasteful decor. The lodge was like a super cute home. Vanessa and the staff were efficient and sympathetic. I felt so at home! The common areas encouraged guest interaction. I really appreciated the complimentary sherry.
After a few days, the breakfast felt a bit repetitive. I'd love to see some variety. That would elevate the experience even more.
