room large. it had beautiful decor. the bed were indeed very comfortable. i also enjoyed breakfast a lot. there was short walk to the metro from there. some lovely restaurants are near.
one staff member at reception was insisting to downgrade us from a junior suite. they wanted to give us double room. this because i'm just a couple. it was noisy at night. it's because of proper double glazing missing.

My room featured la scala opera theatre wallpaper. the main entrance resembled a museum, showing various art pieces. i appreciated seeing the grand piano visible from the main lobby. It added a nice touch. the breakfast was also amazing, and the front desk service was great.
the furniture felt a bit outdated for a five-star hotel.

the hotel is near the duomo and other places to see, about a pleasant fifteen-minute walk through via torino. many shops line the route for browsing and exploration, and it is easy to reach many attractions. the location is very convenient.

the plastic cups in the room felt a bit out of place for a hotel of this caliber.
