Idyllic Garden Retreat

I loved the colonial style of this hotel. The pool area seemed fabulous, the breakfast and restaurant was excellent. The room felt comfortable and clean. It had a fabulous view from the balcony, with a vista of the sea, mountains and lush gardens. The reception staff seemed obliging and cute.
I noticed the hotel suffers from a lack of investment. Flaking paint and old carpets are noticeable. There are cracks in walls, only plaster, and leaking roof. It's evident this hotel was once grand.

The hotel features well kept swimming pools, a gymnasium and a health center. Everything seemd to be in good order. Guests can enjoy facilities intended for relaxation and fitness throughout their stay.

Breakfast included ample options with good food. Evening dining offered an enjoyable experience. Guests can anticipate a varied culinary selection. Good wine complements the meal.

the location had really beautiful views of the surroundings. the hotel sat in a quiet green area and gardens surrounded it. the balcony felt very spacious in my double room panoramic view.
i found the room build and furniture dated. cleanliness felt poor overall. i spotted dead ants in the bathroom and on countertops even after a cleaning request.

The breakfast had a good choice of foods. The bed was comfortable. The reception staff were obliging and cute.
The road outside is narrow. It is dangerous because it has no footpaths. I had to use taxis to get anywhere. Signing up to Bolt helped a lot. It was great and cheap.

excessive noiseshower temperature
the noise level was excessive and disturbin. it seemed to originate from the roof and persisted through the entire weekend. maintenance attempted repairs, but they failed, so i was not able to sleep well. additionally, the shower had significant issues. the water temperature fluctuated unpredictably from normal to freezing to scalding. maintenance addressed this problem, but it only improved marginally. a relaxed shower was not possible.
