I thought the location was beautiful. THE view of the lake with the mountains was excellent. breakfast was very good. The staff were kind and helpful. THE main building is historic and fantastic.

the hotel did not have Air conditioning in rooms. this fact.

walking through the castle's historic halls was very excellent! i loved experiencing the sound of music connection. the breakfast in the ballroom was delicious with wonderful views, it really added a regal touch to each morning. free bike rentals allowed easy exploration of the picturesque lake and surrounding areas!

the room lacked air conditioning, uncomfortable given the warm weather. this affected the quality of my sleep, though the provided fans helped a bit.

The hotel grounds are really good with the Alps as a backdrop. I had the freedom to roam the hotel, including the palace. The cleanliness was very noticeable , as everything looked well-kept. The staff was accommodating and helpful during check-in and throughout the stay.

The breakfast room are beautiful, and the selection of hot items and continental food are nice. The main building are ornate and exploration are free. The staff are helpful, and they allow guests to live the Sound of Music fantasy. I am grateful for the prosecco served with breakfast, it was a lovely touch.

I wish it was closer to more places. However the bus worked out for our needs to get to places.
