Location

Senalala Safari Lodge is situated in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park, which spans one of Africa's largest conservation areas. Access is facilitated via Hoedspruit Airport, approximately one hour's drive away, or Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, about three hours away. Guests can self-drive or choose road transfers to reach the lodge nestled within the pristine South African bushveld.

Rooms

Accommodation at Senalala consists of six spacious chalets with king beds and en-suite bathrooms, each featuring a standing bath and indoor shower. The chalets are air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans for comfort, allowing views of the watering hole where wildlife frequently visits. Two chalets can be converted to twin beds, catering to different group needs, with a maximum capacity of just 12 guests ensuring privacy.

Safari Experience

Senalala offers a structured safari experience with two game drives per day lasting two-and-a-half to three hours each, taking guests through an 11,000-hectare traversing area. Game drives are conducted in six-seater safari vehicles with qualified guides who present informative sightings of the Big Five and other wildlife. Guests can also opt for walking safaris, allowing for a closer connection to nature and its intricate details.

Dining

Dining at Senalala includes a fully catered experience with traditional homemade meals served in two dining areas, one overlooking the watering hole. The wine-themed area features a selection of South African wines included with meals, enriching the dining experience. Each meal serves as a time for guests to share stories of their wildlife encounters and connect over freshly prepared food.
