Umlani Bushcamp is located within the unspoilt Timbavati Nature Reserve, adjacent to the renowned Kruger National Park. This scenic area spans over 10,000 hectares of rich African wilderness, offering a genuine safari experience. Guests can enjoy direct access to wildlife encounters with the Big Five in their natural habitat.

Accommodation

The camp offers eight Eco Hut Rondavels, including four double huts and four family huts, accommodating a maximum of 16 guests. Each hut is equipped with en-suite facilities, featuring open-air bush showers for stargazing. The huts are designed to blend naturally with the surroundings, ensuring thermal comfort throughout the seasons.

Dining

Dining at Umlani Bushcamp includes award-winning meals prepared by skilled cooks using locally sourced ingredients. Guests can enjoy meals in the traditional boma or under the stars in the open riverbed. The camp also has a bush bar and deck overlooking a nearby waterhole, adding to the dining experience.

Activities

Umlani Bushcamp offers twice-daily game drives in open-top vehicles, guided by knowledgeable rangers and skilled trackers. Guests can also join optional morning bush walks or relax by the swimming pool. Additional daytime activities outside the reserve, such as helicopter patrols for anti-poaching initiatives, can be arranged through camp management.
