jungle paradise

great location tasty food helpful staff

the location is near orangutan sanctuary and sun bear conservation center. the restaurant provides tasty food. i saw a wild orangutan on the grounds. the breakfast buffet provides many options. the staff helped me book transport.

the electricity frequently went off. this meant no water was available for flushing toilets or washing hands. i think the hotel should provide torches or candles in the room.

the room had comfortable beds. the air conditioning is good. the balcony to my room provided views across the grounds. the rooms were lovely, quiet, clean, and peaceful.

lush greenery convenient distance special location

the location is special , nestled amidst lush greenery. i even saw some animals right from my bungalow , such a treat ! i walked to the nearby attractions in about 20 minutes , a convenient distance.

the breakfast buffet was simple , yet adequate for a short stay.

long wait hot water

the restaurant food tasted good, and the staff were very cute to me.

i had to wait a long time to be shown to my room after a long day traveling. i waited maybe an hour, though all i wanted was to freshen up. eventually, i just insisted on a key and carried my own bags. also, there was not proper hot water in my room even after following the instructions to turn it on.

musty bathroom inadequate fan

the hotel location is convenient to reach the orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries nearby. it's walkable, i have to admit.

i didn't like the dorm. it felt old and run-down. the bathroom smelled musty and the fan was just not up to the task. it barely offered any relief from the humidity.

my chalet was spacious. i loved that the staff were friendly and helpful with anything i needed. the restaurant served good food , it was a win.

the resort's location made it a bit pricey , it seemed like they were capitalizing on it.
