great location by the water
pleasant location cool room comfortable room
the location was pleasant after a day of backpacking. the room was cool. the room was also comfortable. i appreciated its convenience after a long journey.
i noticed there was no body wash provided. this detail would have enhanced the experience. it's a small addition that makes a big difference.

the bus stop is just outside the hotel. it also is near the beach. the location is perfect for accessing transport and scenic views. the location is very convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

friendly staff helpful staff close bus nearby restaurants wifi problem mobile data no breakfast
The staff were friendly and helpful. the bus from princes street stops very close. It was less than a minute walk. the airport bus was only 10 minutes walk away. the hotel was fine, a supermarket, and pubs!!!
The wifi was temporarily out of function. the area has bad coverage of mobile data. This caused some nuisance for me. i really missed the good breakfast they used to serve in the breakfast room. now there is no breakfast served anymore.

clean room train station friendly atmosphere rude staff cold room inadequate heating
The room was clean. The location is convenient to walk to the train station. The pub downstairs has a friendly atmosphere.
The staff member at check-in was not courteous. The room was cold. He refused to address my concern about the inadequate heating.

comfortable bed free parking old window tired decor
the location was convenient on the waterfront. comfortable beds allowed for restful sleep. i found free parking a positive aspect.
old windows did not close correctly. i found no shower in the twin room. the general decor of the place looked a little tired. this was a letdown

sea location friendly staff
The location is FANTASTIC. It is next to the sea. The room was very super clean and cozy WOO-HOO. The staff was really friendly.
The young guy at reception seemed like he couldn't care less. He never offered to help me with my luggage

adequate stay with some drawbacks
unavailable wifi worn hotel
the lack of breakfast was disappointing (i remember it fondly from a previous visit). the wifi was also temporarily out of service, inconvenient since mobile data coverage in the area is poor. i also noticed that the hotel seems a bit more worn compared to my previous stay.
