wow! amazing stay!
friendly staffspacious roomhigh ceilinglarge shower
the staff were friendly and accommodating! they were really good too ensure i had everything i needed. the room had a nice, high ceiling and felt very spacious, that's for sure. i also appreciated the large shower room, a total plus!
The fixtures seemed a little tired and could perhaps benefit from an update. this did not detract significantly from my otherwise amazing experience.

the breakfast was AMAZING!!! it was hearty and satisfying, the dining area was clean and well-kept, setting a positive tone for the day. the food was so flavourful and enjoyable.

the staff offered prompt and attentive support , and were very friendly. their responsiveness to requests was appreciated, and i found them courteous and helpful.

the king room was very spacious, it had modern amenities and was clean. the bedding was soft and inviting, i had a great sleep. there were ample towels provided.

the room was large, the bed was very comfortable.
the staff seemed uninterested to me. i ordered food, the choice was poor. when the food came, the mash was horrible and the sausages tasted sour. the response i got was 'oh nevermind'.

A Wonderful Base for Exploring

The bedroom was very spacious and also impeccably clean. I liked that the rooms are situated behind the pub, a really good design. Breakfast each morning was really good, the quality was apparent!
The security door to the back room of the pub was quite stiff, I found.

The location is very close to a classic pub, offering a really convenient spot. Nearby Hawkridge Reservoir adds to the appeal. This charmed me.

There is ample parking, a great feature arriving by car. The pub has a cute bar area, I found. It provides a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring.
