The location directly beside Tarr Steps offered peaceful walks. The room had a proper coffee machine and a fridge for personal use. Everywhere felt very clean and well-kept, a testament to attentive staff. I found the breakfast to be really good.

The dining room created a comfortable, cozy atmosphere (it.). Dinner proved most enjoyable, as did breakfast. The inn has a picturesque setting, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Fresh milk was available in my room, and I found two types of good coffee, a welcome touch.
Locating the Inn took a little time. Placing a sign at The Tarr Steps car park could help.

The vegetarian options were quite LIMITED. One member of our group ordered chips. The staff later admitted they fried chicken in the same fat. My sausage and mash arrived as a 'half portion'. It tasted dry, tasteless, and much like a school dinner (very disappointing!).
