Really good Art Deco Stay

The receptionist Anne was helpful. Also the staff were polite and friendly. The hotel was fully booked due to a wedding but service was prompt. A bonus was the spitfire flight taking off from the airfield the next morning. I appreciated the Art Deco details throughout the hotel. The design really enhanced the experience. The beer selection was GREAT too.
The curtains in the room seemed OLD, with slight rips.

Staff members provided excellent assistance, ensuring all requests were handled efficiently. The team worked diligently. I noticed that the staff maintained a high standard of professionalism THOUGHOUT my stay.

The restaurant offered a convenient menu. Food preparation was skillful. The ingredients tasted fresh. I observed many guests enjoying meals on the veranda. The breakfast included a selection of freshly cooked items and high-quality ingredients.

The Double Room offered adequate space and comfort . I found the bed comfortable. A desk provided a dedicated workspace. Good workspace was AVAILABLE at the desk and dressing table. It met my needs well.

The hotel building showcased lovely Art Deco design elements. I also saw original cabinets and tables in the bar and restaurant. The airfield setting added unique charm. The hotel offered a large restaurant and two comfortable lounges.

i found the breakfast buffet convenient with a good, buffet-style setup. the secure parking ON the premises gave me peace of mind, though there was limited signage.
the member of staff on the bar gave me the impression that they are not warm enough.

hotel gatesnoisy room
i found the room not very quiet as i could hear other guests moving around and talking. there wasnt any sign that said i need to call the night porter to open the gates after 11pm and i was locked out of the hotel. the staff could told me.
