the room and bathroom felt very small . i noticed cobwebs on the lampshade and dust on skirting boards. these minor details detracted from the overall experience.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the food was very tasty both for dinner and breakfast. i found the team to be cute with many home cooked foods (the garlic mushrooms were the best!). the selection of drinks was wide and reasonably priced.
the bedroom was compact, and i had to go down steps into the en-suite.
Rooms

the room was spotlessly clean, a major plus. the setting was beautiful and right by a stream (i loved that). the decor had quirky details that grabbed my attention.

The double en-suite room was really comfortable. Its price WAS very reasonable. The location is great. It is a quiet village near to a town. Plenty of walking is available around the area.
The breakfast did not have yogurt. They RAN out. My room was very compact with steps down into the en-suite. IT was a small issue.

The food was of a high standard. Salmon with vegetables was one of the options, and it was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff provided very good service and choices were plenty. The price for the double en-suite room was reasonable.
The bedroom felt very compact. Steps led down into the en-suite. Breakfast lacked yoghurt, because they ran out.

The room felt quite cramped. the bathroom was especially small. I struggled to find space for my toiletries. also, there was a noticeable unpleasant smell in the bathroom, quite off-putting. i think some improvements in the bathroom would make a big difference.
