surprisingly cozy stay

friendly staffeasy paymentcomfortable bed

the staff at the bar were really friendly. payment was quick and easy, and i received clear instructions on accessing the building at any hour (that was handy!). my room was easy to find, and the bed was comfortable (i almost didn't want to leave it!).

the single ensuite i booked was slightly dated.

the room was clean and contained tea and coffee facilities. bedding and towels were fresh. there were also toiletries provided in the bathroom, so that was great.

the pub downstairs serves food, and i had the homemade beef stew. it was delicious. i recommend trying it if available, just a heads up, it seems to sell out quickly.

The room was clean and the carpet looked new I found the shower easy to use with hot water. I returned for a couple of pints after enjoying curry with friends. It was great value for money I was welcomed well.

The floors were uneven in some areas It was sometimes a challenge to open the bathroom door

The staff assisted me with securing an uber to my event. nathan even provided a ride back when i could not find a taxi. This was very kind. the female bar staff were also very helpful.
