Welsh hospitality at its best

spacious roomcoffee machinebusy road
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I found a real nespresso coffee machine, a lovely touch. Breakfast offered plenty of choices and i found the staff very attentive to my needs. The inn has a restaurant, however i didn't risk eating there because of my shellfish allergy.
My room faced the busy road. I think it would be better to book a room overlooking the pastoral scene on the other side.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast included a good choice of items, and the view from the breakfast room offered lovely scenery. A chinese restaurant is on the premises offering reasonably priced meals. A nearby pub provides alternative options.
Facilities
9/10
The building features original details, which really take you back in time. I enjoyed the well-stocked bar that included a great selection of whisky and gins. A nespresso machine is also available for those who like coffee.
Location
10/10
The location provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It serves as an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia. I saw numerous walking trails ranging from easy strolls to more challenging hikes. I'm very happy.

The welcome was very warm and friendly. the room was big and very clean. the bar had a great selection of drinks. Especially for whiskey lovers. the chinese food was also great.
I did not like ensuite facilities that have been carved out of an original room. This left the room small. the shower didn't work. the tv and coffee maker also did not work.
