motorbike touring base

secure garageclean roomtasty steaksteep stairs
i stayed for a long weekend and used this as a base for touring on my motorbike. they allowed us to put the bikes in their garage and locked it overnight. rooms were clean and tidy, appreciated. the breakfast and evening meals were superb, i suggest you try the 8oz steak.
the stairs to the third floor were quite a climb. it might be hard for older people to manage as there is no lift. i think it is important to mention that the hotel is an older building.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel features a locked garage for secure parking and a cute bar. inside you can enjoy a pool table, darts board, and a roaring fire creating a cosy atmosphere (especially in bad weather).
Service

the building offers beautiful views from the breakfast room windows that overlook the mountain. the garden is fantastic for sitting out during sunny days. just beyond the garden you can see a waterfall.

the staff was really friendly and cute. they helped dry our coats after we got caught in the rain. the location is perfect for watching the red kite feeding and for going to devils bridge falls.
the room was quite small and lacked natural light. i could also hear some noise from the street outside. the television had a limited selection of channels.
