A Mixed Bag of Experiences
constant road noise creaky bed frame
The breakfast was acceptable enough to get me going for the day
The room felt stuffy despite opening the windows I dealt with constant road noise outside Sleep was difficult due to a creaky bed frame Earplugs were available but only discovered upon checkout a bit too late for me

lovely room immaculate ensuite delicious dessert dirty towel unclean sink poor carpet
The room was lovely. The ensuite was immaculate and had everything I needed for my overnight stay. Sunday lunch was very nice and the desserts were delicious too.
The room was not very clean. The bathroom towel had a stain and the sink was not clean. The carpet and floor were also not good.

Really good Stay
wide choice good location
The staff was friendly and helpful. I noticed the food had a wide choice on menu and was well presented. The building appears recently redecorated and attractive. The bedrooms were well appointed for my one night stay.
I found the room to be warm and I turn off the radiator, open the windows but it did not cool enough. Road noise was also audible when opening the windows. The fan in the bathroom sounded very loud.

My room included a comfortable bed with a nice mattress. The design looked very cozy, and I appreciated the convenient bathroom. I noticed a recent redecoration effort made the room more attractive.

The pub ambiance felt very nice, as does the staff. There was plenty parking. I saw a good beer selection and excellent beef. It had ale pies with proper shortcrust pastry.

i enjoyed live entertainment available on friday night. the bed was really comfy. i appreciated the provided tea and coffee in the room. the food was a top quality too. breakfast was also very good.
