tranquil retreat with attentive staff

the grounds felt okay all time and extensive. i booked a basic farmhouse room, but i got an upgrade to one with a terrace and garden (it was a good surprise). the room was spacious with rosemary-scented toiletries. the little heated pool and basic gym were definitely pluses.
i noticed the bread selection at breakfast could improve a little, but otherwise, it was fine.

The restaurant offered great choices for lunch and dinner. It included local produce and a selection of cocktails and wine (i savored the local flavors). the atmosphere was calming, a perfect end to the day.

ed and tara, the owners, were visible and ensured all guests were happy. other staff members were also very good and provided excellent, attentive service. the hotel was well-curated and authentic.

the setting included wonderful mountain views on clear days, i appreciated this. there were many different places to soak up the views or read a book. the overall vibe of the hotel was very relaxed and calm.

i stayed in a farmhouse double room terrace. the room included rosemary scented toiletries and it was spacious. the hotel had a basic gym and a lovely little heated pool.
the taxi back from the lake cost 100 dinar.
