The room felt quite dated. Its decor needed some serious refreshing. Breakfast quality was a letdown. The veggie sausages were overcooked and dry. The fried egg was hard. I certainly expected better for the price I paid. The electric plug was damaged.

I found the room clean. the high ceiling and open beams gave it character. breakfast included excellent quality food. The presentation was also great. i particularly enjoyed the location near castle combe circuit. It proved very convenient!
The bathroom looked tired. It needed a good update. tea and coffee was provided along with a kettle. however, no fridge was in the room, which would have been convenient.

the staff were friendly on arrival and throughout my stay. i found the room in the 'stable-like' block to the rear to be comfortable. the shower was excellent!
the room was a bit tired and could use some updating and a good cleaning. there wasn't a fridge provided. i noticed the sheets and towels weren't changed .
