adequate stay with some issues

the breakfast was included and quite good it consisted of a full english option.
i found the shower pressure to be quite weak it made rinsing off soap difficult the room was also noticeably cold upon arrival. additional heating should be available.

The staff was friendly. i found the attention to detail lovely in the bar and restaurant areas. our room was cosy, and it reminded me of home. the bed was super comfy. the food at the restaurant stood out. It was homemade, tasted like proper pub fare, and was excellent value for money.

The evening meal was satisfactory, and the staff were friendly.
The shower runs very slow. A sausage was also badly burned during one breakfast. I found the room to be cold. A pillowcase had blood stains.

the staff was friendly and very helpful. i really liked the outside garden area for dog walking as it was unexpected. the cask beer had a sensible price.
the road outside was noisy all night so i kept the windows closed. as a result the room was hot and stuffy.
