Fantastic Stay with Great Hospitality
cosy room advertised amenities transport links tasty cooked breakfast
The room was quite cosy with all the advertised amenities (I especially liked the electric kettle!). I found the location superb for accessing transport links, made exploring easy. Breakfast was plentiful. I had juice, pastries, cereal, and a tasty cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my entire visit.
The window in my room only opened a small amount, so ventilation was somewhat limited.

The breakfast service was attentive and efficient. Staff members were quick to address any requests. The manager was also very accommodating and made sure that all guests were comfortable and had everything they needed (a very important factor!).

superb location nearby bus stop spacious room
the location was superb. it was just over the road from the golf course. i also found a bus stop nearby. the room was spacious and ideal for storing golf clubs.

mixed experience here
unfriendly bar staff missing breakfast
the location proved convenient. i could easily access nearby attractions (such as the steam railway yard).
The bar staff seemed rather unfriendly. the area we wanted was supposedly closed, so we ended up in uncomfortable chairs in a dingy corner. The chef also didn't come in, so we missed our paid-for cooked breakfast. (it was quite disappointing)
