adequate stay with a few issues
constant noiseunclean mirror
The noise was a problem. i could clearly hear the pub downstairs, even late into the night. also, the room wasn't as clean as i hoped. I found some dust and the bathroom mirror had some stains. (i mentioned it to the staff, though)

The staff were friendly. the room was clean and the facilities were good. the location was ideal. Only a short walk from the passenger ferry port. breakfast included a lovely cooked selection with a great choice.
the owner was rude and aggressive. i understand a cancellation period exists but he lacked sympathy. he could have been more polite and pleasant. this would have ensured we rebooked our family trip.

cosy pubcomfortable bed
the pub was cosy and full of character. a comfortable bed and a nice bedroom contributed to my rest. the location is close to the waterfront. I took a late evening stroll around the shoreline to watch the sunset.
warm water was not available in the shower at one moment.

the location was acceptable.
The breakfast started too late for us on the second day. the stair carpet needed a shampoo. the bathroom was also poorly maintained. It was tiny and didn't feel clean at all.

superb staffexcellent beerideal location
the staff provided superb service, always attentive and willing to help. the beer selection was excellent, with a variety of cask ales available at reasonable prices. the location was ideal for exploring the area, close to both shopping and sightseeing spots.
the room refurbishment is slightly overdue.

the king or twin room featured a very comfortable bed and a well-stocked supply of water and coffee were great, though room 6 and its en-suite requires some updates. the decor added to the cozy atmosphere, contributing to a pleasant experience.

The location allowed for a late evening stroll around the shoreline, offering a chance to watch the sunset. The area is adjacent to the main car park was good! the pub is close to the waterfront.
