wonderful stay
warm greeting spacious room tasty breakfast
the owners greeted me with warmth. the room was very spacious. it had comfortable bedding and pillows. breakfast was plentiful and tasty, i took a packed lunch for my walk.
the shower did not supply hot water unfortunately

the rooms had amenities available for making tea and coffee. there is a large pizza oven outside. guests can park in spaces right outside the building. the rooms are quiet.

staff are very friendly and organised. they take packed lunch and breakfast orders. the owners offer helpful tips about the route and the surrounding area. the owner greeted me with a dog towel.

dinner featured lovely tasty home cooking with friendly service. the breakfast was full english. sandwiches in the packed lunch were very good. there is also a bar and restaurant available on the premises.

a SWEET Escape
great advice great tips delicious meals nice amenities
i visited with my dear friend. the owners offered great advice and great Tips. we ate delicious meals and drank lovely drinks in the restaurant. the rooms had nice amenities for preparing tea.
i noticed minor traffic noise at the Back. a bit loud at times, but not Too bad.

the hotel is in a PERFECT spot in the village. buses north and south are easy to access. this made visiting nearby attractions SO simple and convenient for us.

The food was so WELL prepared and good. i HIGHLY recommend the mushroom risotto if it is on the menu. A MUST try. breakfast was superb. Fresh ingredients added a special touch.

our room was spacious and clean. the ensuite bathroom had a very good Size. it was lovely. the fresh local milk was a REALLY nice touch.

Acceptable Stay with Issues
traffic noise no hot water
The room was clean and of a good size.
There was very heavy traffic noise at the rear of the hotel, this was disappointing. I also could not get any hot water from the shower. I wish I had known about these problems beforehand.
