Acceptable stay with some drawbacks
bathroom odor cold floor
The staff greeted me warmly. Breakfast included tasty hot food.
The room had issues. The bathroom smelled strongly of mold. The floor was cold so I needed shoes all the time.

excellent real ales and central location
independent ales lovely breakfast central location
i discovered a commendable assortment of independent real ales in prime condition. the bartender offered a sample before i committed to a pint. breakfast was lovely and the staff catered to all our needs. the location is wonderfully central.
during my stay , i did not find any visible signs for the Wi-Fi network in my room. this made it somewhat difficult to connect initially , causing a minor inconvenience.

the breakfast included tasty hot options and coffee served in a cafetiere , which ensured a FRESH and robust flavor. the pub also features a amazing selection of ales. this offers a good experience for patrons.

this hotel benefits from a central location that allows for convenient access to various attractions. i found free parking near the town centre from 8 pm friday to 11 am saturday. this made getting around VERY straightforward.

the room itself had no carpets and featured wooden floors , which i found aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain. it provided a CLEAN environment. the warm temperature and ready availability of hot water were also advantages.

a satisfactory visit
central location free parking characterful building wifi signs slanting bedroom mold smell
the location was great in the middle of town. i found free parking available in the town center after 8pm on friday. the building has a characterful breakfast area and it was a quick check-in via the pub.
there were no signs for the wifi around the room. i found the bedroom was completely on a slant, so the bed placement had my feet higher than my head. the shower didn't seem clean. and the bathroom smelt of mould.
