I found the hotel immaculate in every way. It felt exquisitely decorated. the staff were fantastic. the location suited me well for visiting points of interest in the area (i visited a few local landmarks).
i found the breakfast expensive at £13.50 per head. i thought there could have been a wider variety of additional items offered. it seemed a bit steep considering other options nearby.

the staff was lovely and accommodating. breakfast, sourced with local ingredients, was cooked perfectly. the hotel and facilities seemed clean and very well maintained.
the tv controls were in another language. i couldn't figure out how to watch bbc or itv on sunday morning. this didn't ruin anything for me.

I found the staff friendly. Their warm smiles. the breakfast was really excellent, with quality ingredients and generous portions (i especially loved the freshly baked pastries!). i managed to check in a little earlier, quite helpful as i wanted to freshen up before exploring the area.
our room lacked a shower, and there was only a bath available. i'd have really appreciated a quick shower option after a day of hiking.

The room had air conditioning , which I appreciated during the July heat. A restaurant sat just across the street. Good parking was available at the rear of the building.
