parking assistance luggage assistance clean room strange odour microwaved breakfast steep price
alton met us upon arrival. he showed us where to park, very helpful. he also assisted with our luggage, bringing it up to our rooms. the rooms were lovely and cosy. they were also very clean. there was tea and coffee available in the rooms, which i found comforting. a fridge with fresh milk was a good touch.
The room i stayed in had a peculiar odour upon entry. it smelled a bit old. the breakfast wasn't exactly to my liking. It seemed like it had been microwaved. also, i felt the price was a bit too steep for what was offered. i found this disappointing.

alton saved a car parking space. the room was spacious and clean. the fridge was great and had milk in it. breakfast was done exactly how i wanted. (i especially appreciated the fresh fruit.)
there was a slight dog smell upon entering.

the breakfast was cooked fresh and hot to my liking. alton offers everything for breakfast to suit everyone's needs. a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and fruit juice was available.

the location is great, close to south pier and pleasure beach. the rooms are super clean and the beds are comfy. there is easy access to trams and buses, which i found very convenient.

Wonderful Stay Near the Promenade
private fridge fresh milk hotel parking great breakfast
The room had its own fridge and fresh milk which was a treat. Parking was available around the back of the hotel, very convenient. I enjoyed the short five minute walk to the Pleasure Beach. Breakfast was delicious with various options like fry ups, cereals, toast, and juices.
The pillows were a bit too soft for my personal liking but I was still able to get a full night's sleep.

The host was very friendly and helpful . He provided great communication regarding the parking situation. The team seems to take pride in their high standards for the hotel.

the room was super clean, i found that great. the bed was comfortable and extra pillows were available.. that was a bonus. breakfast was cooked fresh to order by alton, the host.
the water pressure in the shower could be improved slightly.
