The location proved excellent. It allowed easy access to Derwent Water, a mere short walk. The hosts supplied fresh milk and a selection of teas in the room. They also provided luggage storage on my first and last day, so I could explore freely.
The shower temperature was tricky to adjust, but I managed.

The hosts were very friendly. They were great too accommodate me. My room was clean upon my arrival. The hosts provided chilled fresh milk, a nice touch. Breakfast was great, I had a full English. The host took great care to ensure my dietary requirements were met!!!
The shower wasn't the best. The controls were hard to get to the right temperature. It was difficult to turn it on. I will say that this was an unpleasant experience.

We found a friendly welcome upon arrival. the room was decorated nicely. Spotlessly clean with good quality furniture. we had pancakes with fresh fruit, maple syrup, and cream.. they used really good quality ingredients. i will definitely stay again if i am in the area.

the guest house is perfectly situated for a short walk to derwent water or into town. rooms were really clean. the rooms had everything you would expect for an enjoyable break away.
the shower wasn't the best. controls are hard to get to the right temperature and to turn on. a young child tried to get into the room early in the morning.

I felt very welcomed. the cleanliness was perfect, with crisp bedding and fresh towels (a definite plus). the breakfast was delicious, with a wide choice of options prepared with local produce. I particularly enjoyed the homemade jam.
