The staff accommodated my early check-in. THIS was helpful as I needed to change. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. They made sure I got welcome cookies the next day. They had not been ready on arrival.
The room was very cold. The radiator wasn't getting warm. The shower made a weird groaning sound. This wasn't the best. There was no hot water for the bath. I had to boil the kettle many times.

Underwhelming Service. Cold Room
lovely walkscold roomhot water
The location allowed many lovely walks right from the hotel's front door.
The room was very cold. The radiator did not get hot, so the room stayed cold . The shower also made a strange sound when in use, and there was no hot water for the bath. Boiling the kettle many times barely warmed it. It was disappointing. I booked the room specifically for the bath.

I loved the wonderful views. The staff was very helpful and the food was really good. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, I must say. The team offered refills for tea in the room.
I only noticed a slight delay during peak hours, the service was slow.

lovely locationdisorganized service
the location was lovely, enabling many walks.
Upon arrival, i found the service lacking. Staff seemed inexperienced. i stood waiting with luggage and dogs, while staff avoided eye contact. dinner service felt disorganized and slow.

a bit hit and miss
cold radiatorhot water
the room lacked proper heating the radiator stubbornly remained cold throughout my stay. the shower emitted a rather alarming groaning noise during use. hot water was scarce making a bath an impractical proposition. i ended up resorting to multiple kettle boils just to get the water lukewarm it's a shame as otherwise the room had potential
