a very satisfying stay
friendly staffexcellent breakfasteasy parkinggreat location
the staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice. parking was easy to find and plentiful. the location worked well for my plans (visiting nearby attractions).
the shower pressure was a bit low during peak hours.

the double room included a comfortable bed and fresh linens. a kettle with tea and coffee was available in the room. the bathroom had complimentary toiletries.

the staff provided a very friendly welcome and quick check-in. the restaurant staff was attentive during both dinner and breakfast. they quickly addressed any questions (for example, about local attractions).

missing towel rackchewy steak
the bathroom lacked a decent place to hang towels , a minor inconvenience , but still. the sirloin steak i had for dinner was quite chewy , mostly gristle , really. i mentioned it to the waitress , and her response was just an 'ok , i will tell the chef'. when i paid , i brought it up again , but the manager just said 'oh , okay' , which was not very helpful , was it?

The free parking area was large. The room had tea and coffee facilities and they were regularly replenished. The host provided extra bottled water. Hot showers were good.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The pub served good food, it was great value. I found large free parking at the hotel. The host gave extra bottled water when I asked.
My bathroom was nice but it had nowhere for towels. The bedroom had drawers but no wardrobe. I was unable to hang shirts and trousers.

I enjoyed a full English breakfast, it cost extra. A curryhouse is across the road from the hotel. The bar had a disclaimer about kitchen contamination for coeliacs.
